 My Children's Eyes...

God, I don't ask for
lavish gifts
or satin gowns to wear.
I need no
diamonds or rubies,
or roses for my hair.
I only ask that
when I arise,
I see the
Christmas joy
in my children's eyes.

You've given us
so many blessings
the whole year through
and their smiles
is love reflected
back to you.
Amen.

Merry Christmas!
May you see much joy
in your loved ones' eyes
this holiday season.
