Loving Each Other...

I want us to snuggle,
deliciously warm,
perfectly close,
painted by the firelight's
golden glow,
loving each other,
loving life,
letting our worries
rise weightless
on the shoulders
of the wind
until they vanish
into the world.
We'd be so cozy,
lips meeting lips,
hands going where
they long to go,
as delicate wisps of snow
lace the panes
and holiday lights
fall on the boughs
of the silent, silver night.
With your hand in mine,
all would be peaceful,
all would be bright,
in the wintry world nestled
beneath a cornucopia of stars.
There, wrapped in the
warmth of your love,
I could be happy forever.
I love you!
