Always In Bloom...
You give me
a garden of hope
that's always in bloom
and show me hidden
paths when I'm lost.
I only have to see
your smile
or hear you voice,
and somehow,
life is put into
perspective again.
I don't know how
you do it,
but you show me
how to look at the world
and see beauty
I never noticed.
And you show me
qualities in myself
that I never
knew existed.
No one in my life
has ever cared
enough about me
to share the
way that you do
or to look deep enough
into my soul
to draw out the light
and inspire dreams.
I never knew
what it was like
to be held
until I stood
in the warmth
of your arms.
I never understood
the meaning of love
until I looked
into your eyes
and saw the reflection
of your soul.
I never wanted
to live forever
until you took my hand.
And I want you
to know that with
all of my heart and soul,
I love you.
