A Heart Who Cares...
Our time grows shorter,
and the road grows longer,
as trials darken the day.
And our lives grow colder
without someone to help shoulder
our burdens along the way.
As tears come faster
and smiles come slower
despair becomes our fate
if our worries grow higher
and our hope sinks lower
with no one to lift the weight.
Trouble comes to everyone;
in its stock we all own shares,
but our strength is greater
and our doubts are fewer
when we share with
a heart who cares.
