My Gratitude...
Dear Sister,
I don't always show it,
but I do see
the many caring things
you've done for me.
My steps may wander
far from home,
but I'll carry your love
wherever I roam.
No one has ever
given me more.
There are so many great
things you stand for.
Your lifelong lessons
of mercy and peace,
have left a light
in my heart
that will never cease.
Your wealth of love
will ever live in my soul
and bring all I'll need
to make me feel whole.
And so as Mother's Day
is drawing near,
I send you the thanks
that you deserve to hear,
and I pledge my
gratitude anew
for all of the wonderful
things you do.
