A Gift...
Mother,
You taught me so many lessons,
but one of the most important
was that I should be proud to be a woman.
By example, you've shown me
that a woman can be strong
and care deeply and love fiercely,
that tears can fall through strength,
and caring can shine through confidence.
You've taught me that
womanhood is truly a gift,
and I thank you for that
and for the many other caring
things you've done for me.
