Dear Mother,
When I was a child,
I thought you were the best
mother that anyone could have.
You taught me so much,
you were always there for me,
always willing to make so many
sacrifices for me,
always willing to dry my tears
and tuck me in safely each night.
You encouraged me and understood me
in a way that no one else did,
and I thought I loved you more
than anyone in the world.
Now that I'm grown up,
nothing has changed--
I still think that you're
the best mother in the world,
and I love you more than
I could ever say.
