Just Imagine

What it could mean if you decided this today...

I’ve learned that
no amount of beauty,
no amount of wealth,
no amount of slenderness,
no amount of admiration,
no amount of success,
and no amount of love
guarantees happiness
and always brings
grief of its own.
So what if we relax
and enjoy the day
before us
and imagine that
there’s really nothing
wrong with the way
things are,
with the way
we are—
right here,
right now?
