Good Like Pizza...
May our lives together
be good like pizza.
May all we are separately
be even better together
like pepperoni and marinara.
May we be happy to come home to
each other at the end of each day--
the same way that we'd be happy
to come home to pizza.
May our future be golden and
sensuously warm like crispy crust.
May we find contentment in each other
the same way that we would
in a mouth-watering deep dish.
May we fill the crust of our lives
with warm and wonderful things that
make us smile like stringy mozzarella.
May our passion for each other
always be delivered hot and fresh
and spread with just the right amount
of red pepper to give our love spice.
May we always come together
like the ingredients of a pizza
with flavors and textures that
compliment each other so perfectly
that we crave another slice.
May we always find in each other
something that's worth a taste,
and may each lick hit the spot.
And most of all,
may our love for each other
always be our favorite dish...
like pizza.
