New Love...
that it will never last,
a mere fleeting fancy
that's bound to falter fast.
They say I'll soon get tired
of the same routine,
and find myself weary
of the same old scene.
But I know how lucky I am
to have a love like you.
And I'll always bring you roses
to prove my love is true.
We'll be together sixty years,
give or take a few,
and I'll always do special things
to keep our romance new.
So let them say what they will;
our hearts shall ever stand fast.
We'll show them that this "new love,"
is a love that's meant to last.
