Thank you, God,
for another day of receiving
your blessings on earth
and for the many gifts we receive
from the moment of birth.
Thank you, God,
for holding us close
as the planet continues to turn
and for all you bring to our lives
to help us grow and learn.
Thank you, God,
for the things that touch our hearts,
for the hope that glows inside,
and for a sky full of blazing stars
that inspire and guide.
Thank you, God,
for the beautiful world
in which we live
and for gifts you've given us
that allow us to give.
Thank you, God,
for being there during
each step we take
and for guiding us in every
choice we make.
Thank you, God,
for our dreams
and for the fire that warms
us against the cold.
And, most of all,
thank you,
for the hands we hold.
