With God...
When you open your eyes and see beauty
in everyone and everything,
then you're seeing with God's vision.
When you tackle your trials with determination,
then you're working with God's strength.
When you cherish family and friends
and hold them dear in your heart,
then you're living with God's love.
When you let anger pass you by,
then you're acting with God's patience.
When you're inspired by the beauty
of a flower, the stars, or the sunset,
then you're focusing with God's creativity.
When you feel more joy in helping others,
than you do in your own personal gain,
then you're working with God's hands.
When you can hear the voice
in the wind, in the birds' song,
and even in the winter hush,
then you're hearing with God's ears.
When you're moved by a smile
or by a thoughtful deed,
then you're seeing with God's spirit.
When you suddenly have a need to
reach out kindly to another,
then you're reaching out with God's touch.
When you say something that will
lift a spirit and inspire hope,
then you're speaking with God's voice.
When you cry from joy, or
because you were moved,
then you're crying with God's tears.
When you can see how everything is connected
and know that all of mankind is one,
then you're thinking with God's wisdom.
When you have compassion
and love for everyone,
even for those whom you disagree with,
then you're loving with God's heart.
When you forgive all who've trespassed
against you, no matter how large or small,
then you're acting with God's conscience.
When you seek to relieve pain and suffering,
then you're acting with God's mercy.
When you have faith that the
love and joy you give will pay off
with love and joy returned to you,
then you're living with God's hope.
When you believe that anything can happen
and dreams can come true,
then you're soaring with God's faith.
If you can do all of these things,
then you walk with God
and follow in His ways,
which is what He wants
most of all,
and, perhaps the reason why,
He made us in His image.
