Mr. Blue Sky

Do you need some instant sunshine?

A song that’s certain to infuse your soul with sunshine and lift your spirits.

This popular 1977 song by ELO, Electric Light Orchestra, a British rock group, is called: Mr. Blue Sky.

In a BBC Radio interview, the frontman of the group, Jeff Lynne, talked about writing the sunny song. After locking himself away in a Swiss chalet and attempting to work on some new material, he suffered creative block, but that was about to change. He said: “It was dark and misty for two weeks, and I didn’t come up with a thing. Suddenly the sun shone, and it was, ‘Wow, look at those beautiful Alps.’ I wrote Mr. Blue Sky and thirteen other songs in the next two weeks.”

I hope the song brings positive vibes to your life.
