Writing--my journey and passion

My passion has always been creating. I was an early internet pioneer, designing websites in the 90s and working for entertainment companies. My poetry went viral in the late 90s as well. I also owned a graphic design company, which was popular. Some of these endeavors tugged me away from my fondest dream–novel writing. I’m so glad I found my way back to it. I’ve written 12 mystery novels recently, that I can’t wait to share with you.  I also wrote a true account of a haunted house my family and I lived in for many years. And I wrote five horror novels.

My recent stories

My mysteries take place in England in the 1920s. I love history, and I enjoy writing about this interesting transitional time. Some of my stories are set in London; however, my detective is often called to distant places, including Kent. The setting for one of my stories takes place in Scotland. My stories are character driven and often focus on an intense psychological situations.

this is my story

I’m married with three sons, and I have several grandchildren. I also have a lot of pets. I suffer from several autoimmune disorders, which can make life difficult. I get through the hard times by escaping into my stories.

The Way I Work

I often work around the clock. I get an idea, and I go with it–unable to break away from the story I want to tell. Sometimes my creativity takes me to strange places. Coffee always helps.

My current Writing Plan

My priority right now is to get my next mystery novel ready for publication. The story takes place in London and features the murder of a stage actress. I also hope to publish my true supernatural account this fall–and possibly my first horror story.

As a story crafter, I work long hours and type until it’s painful.

I put heart and soul into my stories, hoping others will enjoy them.
